Vacation Rentals FAQ

Vacation Rental Frequently Asked Questions

Am I required to attend a timeshare tour or presentation?
When traveling with Tripbound, you're vacationing as the guest of a timeshare owner. What does that mean? Well, while this a timeshare resort, you're exempt from attending any timeshare presentation. Hotel representatives may ask if you'd like to attend a presentation upon check-in, and possibly offer you some sort of discount to a local attraction. They might present it as a "free breakfast," or tell you that by attending a 30-minute video presentation, they'll send you on a free cruise or offer you a $100 AMEX gift card; you name it. If you're not interested, just tell them so and they won't bother you about it. Just please be aware, we're not responsible for charges that you may incur as a result of no-shows to such presentations when agreed to at your sole discretion.

Can I check-in early and/or check-out late?
The check-in time is 4 PM. If you're able to arrive sooner, you can leave your luggage with the front desk staff, and set out to enjoy the amenities while you wait for your accommodations to be ready. Once on resort property, the front desk staff will request your contact information and let you know if you can get settled into the room before 4 PM. Arriving late? The front desk staff is available 24/7, and they'll be happy to give you the unit number and key upon arrival. Just give them a call to let them know you'll be in late.
When your stay has come to an end, you can check-out any time before 10 AM. If you need to request an early check-in or late check-out, we recommend calling the resort the morning of your check-in date and asking the staff to make note of your request on your reservation.

Who do I call if I have a maintenance issue during my stay?
Please reach out to the resort directly with any maintenance issues. If you have a problem that is ongoing without remedy, don't hesitate to contact us directly.

What's provided in the unit?
The kitchen will come fully stocked (think pots and pans), so you can cook up comforts of home and save some vacation money! Plates, bowls, mugs, cups, silverware, oven mitts, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, linens, and towels will also be provided.

Can I make a special request(s)?
Because we're unable to select a specific location or view from the unit at the time of booking, as a courtesy to you, our travel lover, we'll call the resort one week before the check-in date, on your behalf, to make special requests. We also encourage you to relay any special requests you might have to the resort staff member who is assisting you with the check-in process as they essentially have the power to select which unit you'll be in.

Can I modify my reservation after booking?
We're unable to edit or modify the length of stay for an existing reservation. If you wish to add additional night(s), we must make a separate reservation. Please note that all of our vacation rental resorts have a two-night minimum, so adding just one single night is not an option.

What is expected or required of me upon check-out?
We ask that you please do a general tidying-up on your way out of your home away from home. This includes throwing away any and all food items, and loading and starting the dishwasher.

Can I change the guest name on my reservation?
Yes, you can. There's a $99 fee charged by the resort to change guest information once it's been applied two weeks prior to check-in.

Will I have access to all of the resort amenities? Will it be an additional cost(s)?
Additional daily amenity fees that might be assessed to other guests will not apply to your stay unless otherwise noted. Please note, the resort will require a credit card at check-in, however, for a security deposit of $100 in case of incidentals or damage to the unit. This credit card hold will be lifted at check-out.

Which unit will I be in?
All of the units are resort-owned and operated, so, much like a hotel, your unit will be assigned at check-in. The photos you see advertised showcase what your unit will look like, including décor, bed layout, bathroom features, and kitchen appliances. Again, because we're unable to select a specific location or view from the unit at the time of your booking, we'd be more than happy to contact the resort staff one week before check-in to let them know of your request.

I absolutely love that I found Tripbound to book with. I have used them to stay at the beautiful Wyndham-Bonnet-Creek in Orlando for my Disney trips and I don't think that I will ever be able to stay at a Disney resort again. I am spoiled by the location and luxury of this resort. Knowing that I can book through Tripbound and save money seals the deal for me. I also enjoy that I can make partial payments to book my trips. They are super easy and friendly to work with.

Very Helpful and informative, they answered every question I had and was very patient with me while I tried different places. They also found me a better deal than I was expecting. I will use them again!.

Awesome experience!! Team Tripbound made planning our family's summer vacation easier than expected. There were no hangups; our room/accomodations were as described and check- in at the resort was "pressure-free" (i.e, timeshare sales). I'd give 10 stars if I could. Team Tripbound is highly recommended by me & mine!
